Welcome to the Carnival!!!!!!

Hurry! hurry! hurry! step right up and enter the ring! I'm your host for today and WELCOME TO THE CARNIVAL!!!!

On todays show:

So alot of you still think atheism is a religion? Franky's atheistic ramblings have somethings about this issue why atheism should not be a religion and ties it into the current pledge ruling.

Well not all Christians are a drag! I have some Christian friends myself. Check out why No More Mr. Nice Guy talks about four Christians he admires and wishes more self-proclaimed Christians were like them.

CHRISTOPHER THOMAS HALLQUIST say's Adam's comments in response to Amba's announcement for God or Not provide lots of good food for thought.Visit his thoughts on the theist-atheist debate at his site. You'll learn alot on his ideas and comments.

Have you ever wondered if Fred Flintstone was an atheist? This may be a bit tongue-in-cheek for the COTG, but I think other participants will appreciate the idea of athiests being around
since prehistoric times. Visit Mark A. Rayner at The Skwib presents Thag not like f#&*ing shaman! to travel back in time.
YABADABADOO!!!!

Here's something about the religious culture amongst Americans, and its
differences amongst blacks and whites in particular(the psychological damage of a slave mentality, or the perceived and realized privilege of a master
mentality, as they apply to religion, and as religion applies to them). This is an interesting article if you're interested on the social impact of religion in the United State. It'a a 3-part article. Read the entire article @ Out of respect... The Race to God (part 1), The Race to God (part 2) and The Race to God (part 3)

Most Christian says that Charles Darwin recant on his deathbed. Here's a snappy answer if someone told you that. Sacriledge in five words or less (lol!).

A little something from me on religions schooling in the UK. not a widely known fact: about one third of all state-funded primary schools in Britain have religious entry criteria (Just like in the Philippine eh?). And everyone thinks it's the US that's full of Christian crazies! At least you're not (still) segregating kids at 4 years old... Anyway, enough! Just go to Fair Vote Watch for more detail

It was fun hosting the Carnival. The next Carnival will be held on October 16 @ The Common Man.
SEE YOU THERE GUYS!!!!
